The Traditional Medicine Practice Council (TMPC) has successfully concluded a two-day intensive Performance Management and Appraisal Workshop to strengthen institutional efficiency and align staff performance with the Council’s strategic objectives.

The workshop, held from 24th to 25th February 2026, formed part of the Council’s ongoing commitment to enhancing internal systems to drive sustainable external impact. It focused on equipping staff with modern skills in SMART goal setting, structured appraisal techniques, effective feedback delivery, and performance accountability.

Throughout the sessions, participants engaged in practical discussions and exercises designed to promote a culture of excellence, transparency, and results-driven service delivery across the organization.

This initiative reflects the visionary leadership of the Acting Registrar, Dr. (MH) Yakubu Tobor Yusuf, whose administration continues to prioritize staff capacity development and improved institutional productivity.

The workshop was facilitated by the Council’s Head of Human Resources, Rev. Tony Oduro, who successfully led his first major internal staff development Programme. His facilitation provided staff with practical tools to strengthen performance management processes and promote shared responsibility for organizational growth.

The Programme was also attended by the Ag. Administrative Secretary, Dr. Abayaah-Isaah, whose presence underscored Management’s collective commitment to fostering a high-performance culture within the Council.
